AGM, Inner Kindness Workshop and Survey!

Hi all,

Just a quick invite to the Menopause and Mind AGM on 19 March, places are limited so please register your interest via the Google Form and we will send over full details shortly: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfJsUPcrrwzsXAdVMaCfNIrAFolVhhJ6DEtWc7vP6E1K-Lx5g/viewform?usp=header

We are particularly interested in linking up with other Menopause Practitioners in the city and it will be the launch of our new research report, a following on from last year’s survey, which we are delighted to say has almost doubled in response rate from last year and will give some insights into the current situation in Brighton and Hove. There is still time to share and complete this: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScIvco8RwewxopgSI8LTueC-hm_jketwm5xRad4NOChHazorw/viewform?usp=sf_link

We have a free online Inner Kindness Workshop Online Tue, Mar 11 • 7:00 PM GMT- https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/o/menopause-and-mind-60181017753

Menopause and Mind Survey – Brighton and Hove

Just a quick reminder of our ongoing survey on the menopause in Brighton and Hove. If you are peri – post menopausal and have time to share your experiences to feed into our research please fill in this survey here. Also very keen to share as widely as we can to get as wide a range of experiences as possible so please do share with any service users who would be interested – you can share this link if it is helpful – https://menoandmind.org/2025/01/29/menopause-and-mind-survey-brighton-and-hove/

This is our second piece of research on Menopause and Mental Health Support in and around the Brighton and Hove area. You can read more about why we need more research, particularly for LGBTQIA+ groups, groups impacted by trauma, minority ethic groups, refugees, alongside those who are neurodivergent or have pre-existing mental and physical health issues here.

Our last research report “I suffer in silence” has been seen by Medical Professionals, GP surgeries, considered by members of the Sussex Integrated Care Board and informed community groups across Brighton and Hove. It has also gone much further and we received a message from a Portuguese Medical Doctor working on holistically supporting those experiencing menopause who wanted to let us know he was referencing the work we are doing.

Your voices are being heard and they matter, change will happen!
