Dear all,
Menopause and Mind Events 2025
Happy New Year! We hope you are all doing well with the challenges in day-to-day life and being gentle with yourselves as we move forward into the cold months that can be very challenging for some. We had a great year last year, bringing in more facilitators for art, hypnotherapy and ADHD and we are hoping to offer a varied and healing programme for the year ahead.
We are still collecting local experiences of those experiencing the menopause transition. This research will help us collect the evidence we need to keep our events free, and improve local services. Please do fill it in at this link here and share widely!
Menopause and Mind focus on raising awareness of the impact of menopause on mental health, and provide support for people experiencing menopause-related mental health struggles. Our focus is on well-being, transformation and connection. We explore creative approaches to mental well-being and practices of collective care. We have two upcoming events for you in 2025 so far…
The Medicine in Your Menopause with Sally Garozzo @The Cornerstone Community Centre, Hove, Saturday, January 18, 2025 10:00 AM
In this workshop we’re going to delve into what our past taught us about menopause (and our cyclical bodies); what our present wants us to know and what our future is calling us to do. This will be a short but hopefully enlightening journey for you to connect with others on their peri-menopause journey, have some realisations about yourself (and your menopausal journey) and get one step closer to giving your body, mind and soul what it needs.
Cutting the Crap Collage Session @ The Queery, George Street, Brighton, Tuesday, 4 February, 2025, 18:30 PM
Intuitive collage helps you to meet and accept the inner parts of yourself that you do not normally express. Intuitive collage expresses the various aspects of your personality in visual form, and this will help you to understand, organise and sort out your inner landscape so that you can witness it compassionately. The imagery and colours in an intuitive collage can reveal and externalise emotions more powerfully than verbal self-expression.
Booking for all sessions is free but essential due to limited space via eventbrite : https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/o/menopause-and-mind-60181017753
We are currently setting the date for our AGM in March, please notify us here if you would like to receive an invite when the date is confirmed.
If you are looking for more information about peri-menopause do check out our toolkit and blog on our website: www.menoandmind.org
Warmest wishes in the ever lightening days,
